SFML: An OMB A-21 compliant Specialized Service Facility
MISSION
The mission of the CSUMB Seafloor Mapping Lab Specialized Service Facility (SSF) is to maintain and operate the geospatial technology assets owned by the University Corporation at Monterey Bay (UCMB, the CSUMB 501c3 auxiliary) and associated with the CSUMB COAST Spatial Information Visualization and Analysis (SIVA) Technology Center for the benefit of the CSU and in compliance with Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-21.
The SSF provides a framework and mechanism for equitable cost allocation and sustainable use of SIVA geospatial technology assets for research and training across the CSU
